Chromium for Mac gets Flash and other functions.

Chromium is a test version of Google Chrome for Mac OS X. I have been watching its development since April this year. Once a week or two weeks I download and install the newest Chromium build. Every installation I see new functions added. Unfortunately Chromium wasn’t functional for a long time due to the lack of Flash support and some other functions. Today I have downloaded the newest build and I was pleasantly surprised. There is Flash support now and some other functions.

The newest Chromium build enables watching Flash movies and animations, including YouTube and other video and multimedia sites. Another new feature I have discovered is default browser test – if Chromium is not default browser it will alert user asking him whether or not Chromium has to be default browser.

Chromium passes The Acid3 Test:

Chromium support HTTPS connections

and themes for original Google Chrome
