Make mosaics from your photos – MozoDojo for Mac OS X

Posted on August 2, 2009 by admin

I guess, most of the readers of my blog have come upon mosaics – a bigger pictures made of hundreds small ones. Usually the big picture is related somehow to its pieces. There is an app for Mac OS X that can help you to create nice mosaics – it is MozoDojo.

This app enables creating mosaics from the photos from selected folders, adjusting the grid, level of opacity, how many times one piece/picture will be used in mosaic and so on. However, one has to remember to add enough photos. The grid of moderate thickness requires from 500 to 1000 photos, if we don’t want them to be used twice. Making such mosaics consumes most of computer powers. During making mosaic presented above, my MacBook Pro 13″ slowed down the web browser with 20 pages open in the tabs. Despite of that, effects can be worth of it.
