NerdTool by Kevin Nygaard is an app similar to popular GeekTool. It enables displaying many kinds of information straight on the desktop almost as a part of desktop wallpaper. It is undoubtedly one of the most attractive and not annoying forms of showing information generated by the terminal scripts and commends. This kind of tool is commonly linked to the computer geeks, especially those presented in the movies.
Information that is going to be presented on the desktop depends mostly on our invention and knowledge of terminal commends. There is also an option to add pictures and Quartz files. Each information can be displayed with different font, color and text effects.
