Savage 2 for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux

There is a lot of free role playing games or even real time strategy games over the net. Not all of them are for Mac, but still one can find something interesting, but usually they are more or less disappointing. There is at least one exception to that rule – Savage 2 – online multiplayer game that mixes both real time strategy and role playing games. Savage 2 is available for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
As for the good role playing game, we can put into one of the raes, choose the right personality, character and abilities. In the RPG mode we see the world from behind our hero. Depending on the breed and skills, we can use a variety of spells and weapons. By default, our hero knows two ways of attacking (by a simple left-click mouse and jump attack – left click and space) and how to block the blows (hold C or 3rd mouse button).
In the real-time strategy mode, we are the leader responsible for expanding our settlement, erecting structures needed to strengthen our warriors trained only in order to defeat our opponents. We need to build gold mines, which provide us the means to build more buildings, and they are garrisons, temples, armories, healing places, defense towers, etc.
To play the game you have to register on the Savage 2 website. Standard account is for free, but you can pay for premium one. It costs $9,99 and you will get additional inventory space and so on.
