iTechno – Tunes: Beatler for Mac OS X

There is at least a few apps for Mac OS X that enables user to listen to the collection of live streaming radio stations. This time i found the app, that is a bit different and it reminds more iTunes – both the application and the online service, however limiting its own offer to the so called Techno. This program is called Beatler, by cancelmonday.com.
Application enables user to listen wide variety of Techno styles. User can listen to or to buy single tracks or to the entire albums, Beatler is a client app of Beatport.com, from which user download tracks. From the tracks that we bought we can combine so called crates – like real creates of vinyls – kind of playlists of songs, that can be automatically saved to hard disk and added to iTunes. Beatler informs its users every time if they favorite artists or labels release something new. The quality of sound is OK, however, I can not say nothing more, since I don’t listen to Techno stuff at all.
