Language Switcher for Mac OS X
Posted on July 19, 2009 by admin
Some of the programs I use have more than one language option. Usually I can run them in English or Polish, but sometimes also in German, French or Russian. Other languages are available only when I change the Mac OS X language accordingly. Sometimes I am even forced to change the system language, since some of the programs are badly ported to Mac and they don’t work in a non English environment at all. One of them is excellent game Battlefield 2142. Each time I want to play this game I have to switch Mac OS X to English. But finally there is a solution – a free app – Language Switcher, by TJHD.

Language Switcher reads the information about available language versions of each app in Applications folder. Clicking on the icon of chosen app we can get an information about available languages and we can choose one in which we want to open an app.
For instance, a screencast recorder – Screenium – is available in 7 language versions.

You can get Language Switcher at: http://www.tj-hd.co.uk/en-gb/languageswitcher/
