BravoTunes for Mac OS X

Most of the small apps that co-operate with iTunes do almost the same – extending its functionality with presenting cover arts straight on the desktop allowing to rate currently played song. There are two exceptions, TwitTunes and BlipTunes – both let user post the title of the currently played song on microblogging sites like Twitter and Blip.pl. BravoTunes, by Bravobug Software, it is yet another small and free app for Mac OS X that extending iTunes functionality with an artist name and a title of the currently played song displayed in the Mac OS X menu bar.

The app allows user to change the configuration. One can extend or narrow display space at menu bar, can change the font and text effects as well as the text speed.

There are of course a wide range of information that can appear in the menu bar display: current track title, umber, artist and album as well as upcoming track, elapsed time and so on.
