ACDSee Pro beta for Mac OS X!

Posted on May 20, 2009 by admin

One of the programs longed by a person which has just switched to Mac OS X from Windows is ACDSee image browser. It has long been known that there was no ACDSee for Macs. Until now – ACDSee for Mac OS X is a fact!

ACDSee Pro is available in the free beta version, valid until February 2010. Program, there is no need to introduce, is an image browser and manager on your computer disks. It can also be downloading assistant for your photo cameras. Because I have just downloaded it I will do a regular review in a couple of days. At first glance, it appears to be fast. Preview images are opened quicker than in Finder, except heavy PSD files – but they open up in a similar pace as in the native file manager.

There are two modes of view: the browser and a preview. We can tag images, give notes or rotate them. Program is certainly not limited to these features, I describe only those I checked “on a fast.”

As mentioned above, ACDSee Pro beta is available for free for testing till February 2010. So you have some time to familiarize it thoroughly before making a decision to buy it or not to buy.

One can write that there is iPhoto on Mac OS X. Of course it is indeed. But I belong to those people who longed for ACDSee since they switched to Mac.
