EverSave – don’t bother about saving documents

I remember when I used to work on Windows, Microsoft Office (which I don’t use on a Mac) had a great auto-save functionality that saved open documents in specified time intervals. This was not a native Windows function, its operation was limited only to the Microsoft Office. This great idea has also been implemented in Mac OS X. It is not a native Mac OS X functionality, however it is also not limited to one specific program. With the free application called EverSave, published by Tool Force Software, all documents on which we work – no matter in what program and what type of file it is – will be saved automatically on a regular basis.

EverSave enables us to determine the time intervals of automated saving documents. You can also specify whether the automatic entry will be subject to all open documents, to all running applications, whether for example, only to one specific document, or all open in the currently active application. You also have the ability to automatically save open documents followed by restart, shut down or putting your Mac to sleep.

EverSave is donationware application type, it can be downloaded from: http://www.tool-forcesw.com/eversave/
