Gigometer for Mac OS X

Because I go to concerts quite often, I mean those on which I play the guitar in my band – Artrosis. I try to be up to date with the concert life in the current place of my residence, whether it is Lodz, Poznan, Poland (where we have our recoding studio and rehearsals), or even in Ireland, Carlow, where I happened to be on intimate gig of Levellers – a great team of punk folk. Even though I try to be up to date with concerts in the area, which I currently reside, I have to admit that I do not like to go through the web pages with a list of such events. With great joy I have discovered a widget for Mac OS X called Gigometer, which gives me the current schedule of concerts for the selected place (with a fixed tolerance range to the distance in kilometers), taken from LastFm. This is a great idea of the tolerance range. I think it may well be found in the case of large urban agglomerations, such as the agglomeration of Katowice in Poland. By entering a location such as Zabrze, and selecting the appropriate tolerance in kilometers also I get info on concerts in Katowice, Tychy, Bytom, etc. New version is updated with the a optional view of the specific artists’ dates of events.
