Pixlr – a free web raster photo editor.

For those who are looking to the treatment of their photos for free, there is a new alternative – it is an online raster graphic editor raster graphic called Pixlr. The web application made in flash technology can be found at http://www.pixlr.com/app/. I have to admit that the program promises to be quite interesting and seems to work faster than the so-called alternatives to Photoshop. Of course Pixlr it is not an alternative to Photoshop. Even on good days I noticed that the program does not open TIFF files. Despite the visual similarity to Photoshop it lacks even basic tools such as guide lines, rules, etc. The authors of the program ensure that are working permanently on it and it will be regularly upgraded with new features. I have to admit that we can observe a process of building an interesting free web application available on almost every system, but the authors have a long way yet, as far as the lack of a large number of very basic tools. I will follow this project with great interest.
